Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC 2019 Inbox Apps: Unpacking Microsoft's Printing Issues Fix

Microsoft has released an out-of-band patch to address unexpected results when printing from some apps or to some printers on Windows 10 devices that applied the March 2021 security update and subsequent out-of-band updates. The issue was expedited due to its impact on users, but it appears that the fix may have inadvertently created more printing issues.

The problem arose after applying the cumulative update KB50000802, which caused printing issues for some users. Microsoft has since released a new patch to address this issue, but the company is yet to provide detailed release notes. The out-of-band patch does not impact other background processes and should resolve the printing issues without disrupting system performance.

In related news, Microsoft has released version 89 of its Edge browser, which includes features such as vertical tabs, improved PDF reader functionality, new Group Policy settings, startup boost, and intensive resources throttling. Startup boost is expected to improve load times by up to 41%, while sleeping tabs can reduce resource usage and enhance performance.
